Stan Solomon Biography

Born in New York City in 1946, Stan Solomon decided to teach himself to paint while serving in the military while stationed in Japan.  Stan continued painting while attending the New York Institute of Technology and the Brooks Institute of Photography. His talents included photography, which he taught at Every Woman's Village while working as a freelance photographer.  


Solomon has had over 300 shows in his career. His art has been published by 8 different publishers, which consisted of Lithographs, serigraphs, azochromes, cibachromes , posters and giclee's.  The majority of his work is only available in the original form of acrylic paint on canvas.

Stan resides in New Mexico, with a presence in St. Louis, as well.

Solomon's work continues to evolve and becomes more intricate and exciting as his life evolves and reflects in his art.


Stan has recently decided to paint only a small number of additional paintings before hanging up the paint brush and deciding what to do "next".
